Your choices and your data

Privacy, in plain language.

Here is what stays on your device, what a shared link contains, and what happens when you visit.

Tool inputs and local storage

Calculations, timers, random selections, and grouping run in your browser. We do not send your entered names, rosters, or calculation contents to our servers as part of using these tools. Wheel entries, recent wheel picks, the shared roster, and consent preferences may be saved in your browser’s local storage.

That storage belongs to this browser on this device. Clear this site’s browser data to remove its saved information. Private browsing and browser restrictions may prevent saving.

Shared wheel links

A shared wheel link includes the entries in its URL fragment, the part after the # sign. This encoding is not encryption. Anyone with the link can open and read the names or options. Use entries you are comfortable sharing. The fragment is not included in the routine page request to the host.

Hosting and optional analytics

The hosting provider receives routine request data needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time.

When Google Analytics is configured, it runs only after you opt in. Google may set analytics cookies and receives generic visit and tool events. Our analytics URLs omit fragments, and tool events exclude entered names and calculation contents. Use the consent controls to change your choice.

Advertising and questions

No advertisements are active at launch. If Google ads are enabled later, advertising consent will be handled through a Google-certified consent platform where required. See Google’s consent requirements. This page will be updated to describe the enabled services. Current support information is on the contact page.
