Keep your time in sight.
Count down, count up, or settle into a rhythm. One clear display, four useful ways to keep time.
Simple instructions and useful answers, so you can get on with your day.
Choose the timer for your task
Use a countdown when you know how long something should last. Use a stopwatch when you want to measure how long it takes. Pomodoro alternates focus and break periods, while intervals repeat a set of work and rest periods. Choose a mode above before starting.
- Set the duration or choose a quick preset.
- Decide whether you want a sound at the end. Use Test sound to check it.
- Select Start, then use Pause and Resume when needed.
- Use Reset to return that mode to its configured starting point.
Countdown and stopwatch
A countdown can cover a five-minute presentation, a stretch break, or a longer activity. Enter hours, minutes, and seconds, or start with one of the minute presets. Pausing preserves the remaining time. Reset lets you change the setup before another run.
The stopwatch counts elapsed time and supports laps while running. A split is the time since the previous lap; the total is the time since the stopwatch started, excluding pauses. Laps are useful for comparing repeated tasks without stopping the clock between them.
Focus sessions and repeated intervals
For Pomodoro, choose a focus period and a break period that suit your task. The default is 25 minutes of focus and five minutes of rest. Automatic advance moves into the next phase when a period ends. Turn it off if you prefer to start each phase yourself.
For intervals, set work time, rest time, and the number of rounds. A setup of 40 seconds of work, 20 seconds of rest, and eight rounds creates a short repeated routine. There is no extra rest period after the final work round. Check the current phase and round in the display.
Make the display easier to see
Fullscreen gives the clock more space during a class or presentation. Floating mode can keep a smaller display over other applications when your browser supports it. Some browsers provide controls in that window; others show the timer while its controls remain in the original tab.
Why did I miss the sound?
Check the sound setting, your device volume, and Test sound. Browsers can restrict audio or delay background activity. Sleeping or locking a device can interrupt alerts, even though the display catches up when the page resumes.
Can I close the page and keep timing?
Keep the page open. Reloading or closing it resets its timing session. Switching between tools within this site keeps the mounted timers available.
